Hi Debbie: I don’t think it’s a matter of how much you weigh, but how your body shape is. I know some tall, solidly built people who can ride Manta while others who weigh much less but are shorter with large stomachs cannot get onto the ride. Check out the comment from Debra where she couldn’t ride because her thighs were too big even though she can ride Sheikra. LanceAround

Hi Debra: I feel the exact same way–I can ride EVERY coaster at Disney, but I don’t fit on most coasters at Sea World and Universal. It seems that in today’s technology, it would be easy to develop seats for all of us! Regards, LanceAround

i tried to ride manta on my 18th birthday , and i couldn’t , i guess my thighs where a little too big , i mean the thing came down and everything ,but i guess it wouldn’t click into place or whatever , but it was really embarrassing everyone was staring . i think its really stupid how , that ride doesn’t fit everyone ,it really upset me. i was all excited thinking i could ride it,i mean i can ride SheiKra at bush gardens .
